The RAM 3500 is getting a welcome mid-cycle refresh for the 2021 model year, and lots of exciting technology, capability, and styling updates are expected. If you love this workhorse truck now, you’ll love the upcoming 2021 year model even more.

Technology And Interior Upgrades

Many of the interior upgrades will be to the technology such as Bluetooth®* wireless technology, hands-free phone, remote keyless entry, push-button start, a touchscreen infotainment center, a voice recognition system, satellite radio, and more. The RAM 3500 already offers a comfortable, spacious cab that has ample seating space for five passengers. This is expected to remain the same in the 2021 year model; the 2021 RAM 3500 will offer a single cab and mega cab configuration.

You can also expect to see upgrades to the standard and available driver assistance features, which have become wildly popular in vehicles of all sizes. These smart-safety features often include collision mitigation with a pre-collision warning and automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, rearview cameras, and more safety-focused features. While the specifics for the 2021 RAM 3500’s driver assistance suite have not been released yet, it’s certainly worth looking forward to, and upgrading to if it is not included as a standard feature. Your peace of mind on the road is truly priceless.

There will also be an optional 6.7-liter V8 that cranks out an incredible 930 lb.-ft. of torque and 370 horsepower.

2021 RAM 3500s configured with the gasoline powertrain will have a towing capacity of up to 14,000 pounds.
